CÉ LA VI may be a fairly new restaurant that opened in late 2019, but it is already one of the most renowned in Dubai. This establishment is part of a famous chain that already has several restaurants in Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. CÉ LA VI in Dubai is a very modern restaurant serving highly refined cuisine with Asian inspiration. This will be an excellent choice if you are wondering where to eat in Dubai.
It is located on the 54th floor of The Address Sky View Hotel. This luxury hotel is one of the most iconic in the city, with an incredible boat-shaped rooftop terrace that connects the two towers that form The Address Residence Sky View complex. It's a great place to stay if you're wondering where to sleep in Dubai. In addition to a restaurant and bar, the rooftop also offers a Pool Deck, with an incredible infinity pool. This is one of the best places to contemplate a 360 degree view of Dubai!
THE MERCURY LOUNGE AT FOUR SEASONS
The Four Seasons Resort Dubai is an incredible 5-star resort that is almost unique to Dubai. It is located on the waterfront of Jumeirah Island and features a state-of-the-art gym, a private beach and several huge pools – but one of its most incredible attractions is its Mercury Lounge Rooftop.
This is a very posh establishment, where the prices remain rather affordable (the prices of the dishes start at around $11 to $16). It offers magical views over the sea, the Persian Gulf and Downtown Dubai, and it is undoubtedly one of the best places to contemplate the famous Burj Khalifa – the highest tower in the world.
Comfortably seated, you will be able to sip a variety of cocktails and drinks, and enjoy good Mediterranean food. This establishment stays open until 2 a.m. and after dark, you can enjoy live music and DJ performances. It is without a doubt one of the best rooftops in Dubai!
La Mezcaleria Kitchen & Lounge
If you like Latin American cuisine, head to the 5-star The Oberoi Dubai hotel located in the city center, just a few minutes from The Dubai Mall. On the 27th floor of this very modern hotel is a large bar-restaurant – La Mezcaleria Kitchen & Lounge. In this establishment, the spotlight is on Mexican street food: Tortilla, tamales, ceviche, tacos, Mexican salads... you will be able to taste many dishes with very rich flavors, in a typical Mexican decor.
The view on the other hand is 100% of Dubai. You will be in one of the most important districts of Dubai, in an ideal location to see the lively center of Dubai, the imposing Burj Khalifa and its fountain, as well as the Business Bay, where the Emirates Park Towers are.
Skyview Bar, Burj Al-AraB
Skyview Bar is not actually located on the roof of its building – but this will be easily forgiven, since said building is none other than the most iconic hotel in Dubai! This cocktail bar with an incredible view is located on the 27th floor of the Burj Al-Arab, the incredible giant sail-shaped hotel, which is considered by some as the only 7-star hotel in the world.
Want an idea of the sheer size of the place? Just know that in order to build this 321-meter high architectural masterpiece (1,035 feet), an artificial island had to be created just off Jumeirah Beach – just for the hotel!
Skyview Bar is therefore one of the most luxurious lounges in the world. But unlike the hotel’s rooms, this bar is not necessarily reserved for the wealthy, because meals here start from about $79 per person.
At any time of the day or evening, you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view, a very chic atmosphere and particularly refined dishes, all topped off with a charming little background music.
Alta Badia
Here is a restaurant-bar located on the 51st floor of one of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. If you want to contemplate the Dubai Skyline from a place that is quite accessible and above all where the atmosphere is surprisingly calm and cozy, then Alta Badia is for you. Here, the view is very clear and you will never get tired of contemplating the city and the Persian Gulf.
In this restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Italian specialties – pasta, ravioli, risotto, cold cuts... but also an excellent wine list and all the best Italian desserts (with delicious ice cream)! This establishment is perfect to live the dolce vita in the heart of Dubai. The dishes are very refined, and you will have to expect about $132 per person for a full meal in this restaurant.
Atelier M
Atelier M is often a true favorite for people who are lucky enough to go there, because on this rooftop, the meal is just as memorable as the view. This establishment with its very chic and elegant Art Deco style decoration is famous for its gastronomy, but it also has a lounge which is the perfect place to come and sip a small cocktail while enjoying some appetizers. In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best rooftops in Dubai! 😉
On the top floor there is a beautiful panoramic roof, from which you can enjoy a sunset, admire the starry sky, and even better – see a unique view on the lagoon of the Dubai Marina. Many events are organized here, such as brunch on Saturdays between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.; or "Old Skool" parties every Friday, with a DJ who puts on all the classics of Hip Hop, R&B, Funk and Soul.
Level 43 Sky Lounge
This rooftop is located on the 43rd floor of the Four Point by Sheraton Hotel. On the roof, you will find a terrace from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the biggest street of Dubai, the Sheikh Zayed Road.
Level 43 Sky Lounge is a rather chic establishment, but still very relaxed and with quite the festive atmosphere. Here, you will be installed very comfortably and you will have the opportunity to enjoy many dishes of various origins (makis, sushis, burritos, burgers, salads, nachos...) accompanied by delicious house cocktails. The place is affordable since some cocktails are proposed for about ten dollars only.
In the evening, a DJ comes to ensure the atmosphere by programming the latest fashionable hits, and events are regularly organized – in particular Full Moon Parties and Saxophone Nights on Wednesdays.
The One&Only Royal Mirage Rooftop
One&Only resorts are exceptional resorts located in some of the world's most beautiful and fascinating destinations… and Dubai is obviously one of them. In fact, there are even two such resorts in Dubai, one on Palm Island, the iconic palm-shaped island, and the other directly on Jumeirah Beach – the One&Only Royal Mirage.
This grand 5-star resort is just a stone's throw from Dubai's most lively sites. Luxury suites, more than 62 acres of gardens, a 0.6 mile long private beach – everything is designed to offer vacationers both luxury and tranquility, all while respecting the traditions of Dubai.

Al Sarab Rooftop Lounge can be found on the roof of the Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, an absolutely beautiful 5-star resort that also boasts 3 pools – one of which is an infinity pool that overlooks the desert. It also has a gym and several restaurants. It is located about 45 minutes drive from downtown Dubai, in the middle of the desert dunes.
This resort is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai for a night, and from the Al Sarab rooftop, you can watch an unforgettable sunset and be dazzled by the beauty of the desert and the starry night, all while enjoying a succulent traditional meal prepared right before your eyes 😋
