In this unusual city, the sites of interest are also sometimes very far from each other. A helicopter is the perfect way to see many of the most famous sites in just a few minutes... and to appreciate them from a unique perspective!

Of course, there are also many places to discover from the ground, and many activities to try if you want to visit Dubai.

PRICES FOR HELICOPTER FLIGHTS IN DUBAI

For your discovery of Dubai by helicopter, you will have the choice between 4 flights of different duration: 12 minutes, 17 minutes, 22 minutes or 40 minutes. Of course, the longer flights will allow you to see more of the sites, but they also come at a higher price.

THE 12-MINUTE HELICOPTER FLIGHT OVER DUBAI

This first option offers a 12-minute helicopter tour of Dubai from the air. This is the basic option for a unique experience and to see some of the memorable sites of the city, for a price that remains reasonable. The 12-minute helicopter tour costs about $170.
During this tour, you will be able to discover:

• The 'The Palm Jumeirah', the artificial island in the shape of a palm tree that houses the Atlantis Hotel as well as Aquaventure, Dubai's most famous water park; 
• The Burj al Arab, the 5-star hotel in the shape of a giant sail;
• The Dubai waterfront, including the Jumeirah coastline,
• The Burj Khalifa,  the highest building in the world and one of the most emblematic places in Dubai.

THE 17-MINUTE HELICOPTER FLIGHT OVER DUBAI

This intermediate tour is offered at a rate of $214. More complete than the basic option, this second option allows you to discover the diversity of Dubai in greater depth. The itinerary of this flight goes through all the places you will fly over during the 12 minutes flight, while also flying over:

• 'The World Dubaï', the artificial islands that take the shape of the different countries and continents of the world
• The Port Rashid, which you will discover after having followed the coast towards the north
• The Sheikh Zayed Road, the main avenue of Dubai, which houses many skyscrapers

Although it is only 5 minutes longer than the shortest route, this flight takes a route that will allow you to fly over the main road to the city, which is probably the most impressive place to see from the sky. This is the best option if you want to discover Dubai by helicopter without spending too much of your budget.

THE 22-MINUTE HELICOPTER FLIGHT FOR THE COMPLETE DISCOVERY OF DUBAI

If your budget allows it, this option proposed at about $282 will allow you to discover a very large number of sites of interest and to really get to know the whole of Dubai. In addition to all the places already mentioned for the previous routes, this route will allow you to fly over:

• Bur Dubai, the oldest area of Dubai, where you will find the Zabeel Park and the Dubai Frame, among others;
• Old Dubai, the traditional district of the city, with its "Barjeel", the typical wind towers of the Persian Gulf region,
• Dubai Creek,  the inlet that separates the city into two parts: Deira in the east and Bur Dubai in the west,
• The Marina,  the chic southwestern district of Dubai, on the waterfront, where you can also discover many skyscrapers and the marina.

As you can see, the longer routes show all that the shorter routes show. The advantage of the 22-minute flight is that you won't miss anything. It is the only one that will take you to the northern part of Dubai and will let you fly over the traditional areas of the city.

ORGANIZE YOUR DISCOVERY OF DUBAI BY HELICOPTER

If you want to take a helicopter flight over Dubai, booking your place beforehand is not necessarily mandatory. However, it is highly recommended: doing so will allow you to avoid any bad surprises once you are on site, and to make sure you will be able to take off. Reservations are also recommended if you wish to be able to choose your flight's time departure.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS?

• Regardless of the duration of the helicopter tour, the departure is from the heliport of 'The Palm Jumeirah' which is located next to the Atlantis Hotel.

• You will not be able to take bags with you, but lockers are available at the heliport free of charge.
